No Appraisals by phone!
We are in the business of buying and selling bells, our own bells, not bells belonging to others. We know all the history of our bells, who made them, when, and where. But due to the hundreds of requests we cannot research or help you market yours.
We do not answer questions about little bells, OR give ball park values. We only appraise Large bells such as our church, cupola and tower bells, as well as Locomotive, and Ships bells. NO cast iron farm bells or any iron bells under 20" in diameter.
That said, we do offer an appraisal service. Our 30 plus years of buying and selling used bells qualifies us to value used bells for insurance etc. We will give you an honest opinion on the value of your bell. We charge a small fee of $95 for this service. You will need to provide us with the following:
- 1 photo showing the whole unit. And one from front and back.
- Diameter of just the bell (how wide it is from lip to lip)
- Maker's name if you see one, along with the date
- Let us know of any damage.
You will need to ring the bell and time how long the tone lasts.
Send by regular mail along with a check made out to Brosamer’s Bells.
